Auckland Radiation Oncology’s (ARO’s) new North Shore centre is now open and their very first patients have begun treatment.
We are pleased to share that Auckland Radiation Oncology’s (ARO’s) new North Shore centre is now open and their very first patients have begun treatment. The facility is designed to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience: easy parking, thoughtfully crafted interiors, and a warm reception from their highly skilled team. Every element is focused on making patients and their whānau feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they arrive.
Based in Rosedale, the new centre will improve access to cancer care for those living in the NorthShore, West Auckland, Northland, and surrounding areas. For patients it means they will spend less time travelling, making treatment easier to fit in around their other daily commitments.
ARO North Shore features 5 consultation rooms, one radiation treatment space (with a second ready for commissioning when additional capacity is needed) along with ample free and covered parking onsite, ensuring convenience and ease for both patients and their whānau.
At its heart is the latest Elekta Evo treatment system — a leading innovation in radiation therapy. Its AI-enhanced imaging that gives ARO’s radiation therapists exceptionally detailed views of tumours, supporting more precise and effective treatment.
First patient Claire commented that, “We live in Snells Beach so I feel really lucky not having to drive all the way into Epsom for treatment every day. It’s all happened so fast and everyone has been so lovely, we have been so well looked after.”
Tenantable consult and office space available
Fully equipped consultation rooms are available for regular sessions, and the ARO team welcomes enquiries from radiation oncologists, health practitioners, and allied health professionals working in the cancer treatment pathway.
In addition, two spacious, well-lit tenancy spaces (165 m² and 215 m², plus shared areas) are available for lease. The larger 215 m² space is particularly well suited to healthcare consulting activity with capacity for up to 10 consulting rooms. Both offer lift and stair access, shared staff facilities, access to two fully equipped meeting rooms, and shared underground parking.
